In this section you can find some useful information about our local area, the Hambleden Valley set in the prestigious Chiltern Countryside. There is a huge amount to do and see in this beautiful part of the country, and we have suggested a few lovely walks, and some quality accommodation should you find this helpful.

Even if you only have a few minutes to spare it is worth having a quick stroll around the village green and pop in to St. Mary The Virgin Church. Turville is a lovely, tranquil, traditional English village reminiscent of life from a bygone era. If you think you recognise scenes from Midsomer Murders, Miss Marple, Foyles War, Morse or think you spy a certain Belgian detective, don't worry it is only fiction.

We are also not too far from the towns of Henley, Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor, High Wycombe and Oxford, not to mention other picturesque villages such as Hambleden which is just a five minute drive away.

Come and enjoy our beautiful countryside; a sit in our garden on a warm summers day is second to none for breathtaking beauty.
